ASCEND is a two-week summer dance intensive for talented dancers between the ages of 18 – 28 who are ready to take the next steps in their journey toward dancing in a professional contemporary dance company.
ASCEND focuses on the creative and artistic development of dancers through a “dance company experience” where they work with selected emerging and established choreographers in our Choreographers Incubator to develop and create new works.

If you are a strong, advanced dancer, eager to build and strengthen the skills required to become an exceptional performer, excited to take on the challenges of embodying and performing new choreography and ready to immerse yourself in a creative process of new ideas, this intensive is for you.
All participants will take the daily company class, scheduled master classes, and learn a repertory work. Groups of dancers will be paired with a choreographer to rehearse intensively toward the creation and performance of a new work.
