PROJECT REACH
Since 1993, Baltimore Dance Project has been delighting elementary and middle school children in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, with assembly programs and workshops. Through generous support from the Morton and Sophia Macht Foundation, the company mounts a new educational dance program each year for the schools. The assembly performances include company dancers, student apprentices, and guest artists who combine their talents to present a variety of dance styles as they introduce children to elements dance.
The company has been a regular visitor at Beechfield Elementary/Middle, West Baltimore Middle, Arbutus Elementary, Arbutus Middle, Relay Elementary, Johnnycake Elementary, Southwest Academy and others.
